Carl is an excellent skilled master carpenter. He is polite, timely, caring, experienced professional. You cannot go wrong using Peak and Prarie. We are very happy with our remodeled bathroom. Honest, respectful and very hard working.

The job I had Carl to do for me was very big. He added a 750 sqft sunroom addition onto the front of my home, tying into the existing roof and matching existing stucco. I also had him reroof my whole home and add a covered walk tying into a shed that hadn't been delivered yet. It turned out beautiful. He did a great job and kept the cost within budget. I'm very happy with his workmanship and customer service, especially when faced with a problem. I'd definitely recommend him. He's easy to work with too. The job may have taken longer than expected, but when all of the building materials get delayed because a major hurricane diverts the entire country's supply chain to storm damaged areas, there's not much that can be done to overcome that but wait. Carl is straightforward and dependable. Overall, the finished work is excellent; you can't even tell that the room is an addition from the inside or the outside of the house. If I do have any problems (which I don't expect to), I know that I can count on Carl to come and address them. He's trustworthy and cares about his work. That's rare. No need to look further, he's the guy for your job. His subcontractors on my job were excellent too. The roofers were the only ones I had any trouble with, but Carl addressed the problem without question. Thanks Carl!! I'll call you first for future projects!

Every time I need remodeling work done or handyman services, I call Carl at Peak and Prairie Homes "P&PH"). P&PH have completed 3 major renovations for me on various properties herein Western Colorado. All projects have been beautifully and professionally done. In addition to my home, I own 5 rentals properties. If and when I need anything done, I always call P&PH to fix the problem.

Carl completed the finish work on our new adobe house, and added a 700 sq ft. deck. He is a skilled craftsman and good businessman as well. A decade later we worked with Carl again on a complete updating of our home in Colorado Springs...new kitchen, new bathrooms, new windows....etc. He did excellent work as always. He is experienced and creative and improved our concepts with many good suggestions. He knows what he's doing, and knows how to accurately estimate the cost of a project and sticks with his bid. We are looking forward to working with him again as we plan an addition to one of our homes, and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a quality job, whether it is new construction or upgrading an existing building.

Bathroom remodel included removal of old metal shower stall and building a custom fit tile pan and shower stall, removal of old cast iron sink and installation of new pedestal sink with faucet.Removal of old flooring and installing new flooring in both bathrooms, and replacement of old water heater. He ran into several problems in the process and solved them without charging more than the agreed price.

In 2019 we embarked on a total remodel. The home we purchased had been neglected and needed everything on the exterior replaced including siding, windows, doors and roofing. We also wanted to upgrade the kitchen and baths, as well as relocate of some of the interior walls. Peak and Prairie Homes exceeded our expectations. We were so pleased with how the home turned out that we had them build a new garage/shop the following year. Carl was easy to work with. He listened to our design ideas and turned them into the home of our dreams. We are very happy and continually receive compliments on our property.

Carl remodeled a large deck for us. It was a big project. He demolished the old deck and built a new one with stairs and a railing. Carl made sure that everything was in place and will be strong for years to come. Thanks!

Mr Rasmussen did a terrify job in the bathroom of one of our apartments. He provided quality work at an affordable rate. He has a team of talented people that he supervises. Carl is very good at what he did . everything was delivered on site as he ordered. I changed the angle of the wheel chair ramp, or he would have had the right railing brackets on site. He is a craftsmen were lucky to have him. Superior work. We'll never need to do anymore. He wouldn't disappoint anyone.
